IFLYSIM Academy offers immersive week-long summer academies designed to introduce middle and high school students to the exciting world of aerospace. Our programs are carefully crafted to provide a comprehensive overview of aviation history, aerodynamics basics, air traffic control procedures, aerospace technologies, and insights into various aerospace career paths.
Our academic curriculum serves as a solid foundation for a rewarding career in aviation-related fields. During their time at the academy, students will engage in a condensed ground school course covering essential topics such as federal air regulations, basic meteorology, navigation, engine theory, aircraft performance, fundamental manoeuvres, and other key aviation principles.
Upon successful completion of the ground school, students will have the unique opportunity to experience flight in our advanced simulator. Under the guidance of experienced airline pilot instructors, students will learn aircraft familiarization, preflight procedures, taxiing, parking, straight and level flight, climbs, glides, stalls, slow flight, take-offs and landings, as well as emergency procedures.
